The unemployed women living in the Public Rental board flats will now be provided with skills training following a memorandum of understanding which was signed between PRB and the Young Women’s Christian association today.
1,347 families are expected to benefit from this MOU.
The training will be provided in areas identified by the YWCA which will become a source of income generation for the unemployed women.
PRB General Manager, Mesake Senibulu said these training skills will ultimately result in the reduction of rental arrears for PRB and social uplift for the PRB families.
