The Solomons Futsal soccer team over-powered New Zealand last night beating them 8-4 in the OFC Futsal Championship.
The Defending Champions were trailing 3-2 in the first half but came out strong in the last two quarters and punished the New Zealanders with accurate passing and shots meeting the target.
With this second win, Solomons now lead the points table with six points.
Vanuatu also has six points, however are placed second as Solomons has a better goal average.
Fiji after playing one game has three points.
In other games last night Vanuatu edged New Caledonia 5-4 and Tahiti beat Tuvalu 4-0.
Fiji who was on bye last night takes on Tuvalu at 8.30pm tonight at Vodafone Arena.
