The Fiji Police Force is no longer having its planned Nationwide Christian Crusade which was scheduled to begin from today.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri said they will now have a Nationwide Police Road Show starting from tomorrow.
The decision to have the road show instead of the crusade was made in the last 24 hours.
Sokomori said the new format will focus on awareness on the different departments of the Police Force.
He said the Police Road Show will be launched at Sukuna Park by Police Commissioner Commodore Esala Teleni tomorrow.
The main focus of the road show is to give members of the public the chance to visit selected areas around the country and find out how the departments of the force operate and how they can assist the community.
Meanwhile, Police Deputy Director Operations Erami Raibe said although they will have a church service at Sukuna Park, the main focus now is on the road show.
Raibe said police services will now be taken to the people through the road show.
