These are the words of Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama in his New year’s Message to the nation who says if we have a national approach to empowerment we will all benefit and Fiji will become a better and prosperous nation.
Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said government policies have been and will continue to be consistent.
PM revealed that educational items will be exempted from VAT from 4th January till 28th 0f February this year.
He added that all lease monies collected through the leasing of native titled land by the NLTB and through the land Use Decree will be distributed equally amongst all the members of the respective landowning unit from today as part of the Land use decree and reforms carried out at NLTB.
While wishing all Fijians in the country and abroad, the Prime Minister has urged everyone especially youths to look after themselves during the New years celebrations.
