The prices of all goods and services will increase effective from today as VAT increase on goods and services increase from 12.5 to 15 percent.
Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority CEO Jitoko Tikolevu said VAT increase will apply to all goods and services except certain basic food items that are zero rated.
He added that this will also include Fuel prices.
Government is expected to collect close to eighty million dollars in revenue from the VAT increase.
