Following a great start to the Vodafone Fiji Bati's 2026 Rugby League World Cup campaign, coach Mick Potter says they still have several areas to improve.
The Bati thumped the Cook Islands 40-12 in their World Cup opener on Sunday, scoring seven tries to two.
Potter says they did not perform well in the second half, which was expected of a team that had only a week to prepare.
He also acknowledged the Cook Islands' performance despite trailing 28-0.
He says they will be concentrating on improving the areas where they fell short as they prepare for Sunday's blockbuster against the Kangaroos.
