Tolu Young eyes medals in Oceania Swimming Championship finals

Team Fiji swimmer David Tolu Young is saving his best swim for tonight when he takes part in the finals of the 2026 XIV Oceania Swimming Championship.

He says he did not mean to go all out this morning as he wants to save his energy for tonight.

Young says the competition is good, with some great swimmers from across the region participating.

He adds that he is confident Team Fiji will walk away with medals tonight and is hopeful that some Oceania records will be broken.
