Rewa FC has apologised to its supporters following its 4-1 defeat to Vanuatu’s Galaxy FC in its opening OFC Men’s Champions League 2026 match.

The Delta Tigers have expressed their gratitude to the supporters who travelled to Churchill Park in Lautoka, wore the team colours and continued to back the side throughout the match.

The club says the result and performance were not what the team or its supporters had expected.

They says it is equally disappointed with the result but believes the defeat will not define its campaign.

Rewa says the players will learn from the loss and return stronger for their remaining Group B matches.

The club has also urges supporters to continue believing in the team, saying its heads will not drop and the fight will continue.

Rewa will face Tupapa Maraerenga FC of the Cook Islands tomorrow at 4pm at 4R Stadium at Govind Park in Ba.

Tupapa Maraerenga also lost its opening Group B match.

Rewa will play its final group match against Lae City FC of Papua New Guinea on Saturday at 3pm at the same venue.

The Delta Tigers need positive results in both matches to keep their hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive.
