Stratum/PPCL Rewa secured a 2-0 victory over Khelvin Engineering Lautoka in their Pool B encounter of the Extra Battle of the Giants at 4R Stadium in Govind Park, Ba.
Merrill Nand opened the scoring with a header, while Josaia Sela converted a penalty to seal all three points for the Delta side.
Lautoka created several opportunities during the match but were unsuccessful in converting their chances into goals.
In the earlier matches, Global Care Suva came from behind to beat Blue Gas Navua 3-1, with striker Gagame Feni scoring a hat-trick, while defending champions Extra Supermarket Labasa edged Nasinu 1-0, with midfielder Joseph Joe scoring the lone goal.
Meanwhile, Dayal’s Steel Ba will play Tagimoucia Nadi at 7.30pm.
