NZ thrash Fiji 5–0 to reach Women's World Cup Oceania Qualifiers final
New Zealand delivered a dominant performance to defeat Fiji Kulas 5–0 in the semi-final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 Oceania Qualifiers.

The match was effectively decided in the first half, with New Zealand racing to a commanding 4–0 lead by halftime.

Kulas struggled to keep up with the pace and appeared unprepared.

New Zealand coach Michael Mayne praised his team and highlighted that finishing and good passing creates chance to score.

Mayne says it is crucial to maintain this as they head into the final.

Kulas coach Nicola Demaine remained positive, saying she is proud of the team’s effort over the past two months.

Demaine says winning requires consistent development.

She adds that facing a strong team like New Zealand can be intimidating.

New Zealand will now face Papua New Guinea in the final next Wednesday.
