Naduvalo cleared to travel home

Fiji Airways Men's National 7s winger Viuviawa Naduvalo is in stable condition, and he is fit to travel back to Fiji today.

Naduvalo was injured after South African forward Ryan Oosthuizen powered through to score a try, knocking the winger aside with his elbow while shrugging off his tackle.

The game was stopped for a few minutes as the medics rushed in to attend to Naduvalo.

The fireman is currently leading the top try scorer and holds a 10-vote lead in the race to become the inaugural RugbyPass Men’s SVNS Series MVP for 2025/26.

He was stretchered off in the final against South Africa.

The players will return home and prepare for the Vancouver 7s which will be held on the 8th and 9th of March.

The Fiji men's team are in pool B with Australia, Argentina and France.

South Africa, New Zealand, Spain and Great Britain are in pool A.

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s is in pool B with Australia, US and Canada while New Zealand is in pool A with France, Japan and Great Britain.
