23 young swimmers will be representing Fiji in the upcoming XIV Oceania Swimming Championships 2026 that will be held at the Damodar Aquatic Centre.
The 23-member team includes swimmers who participated in the Australian Age Group Nationals 2026 such as Anahira McCutcheon, who recently won gold in the 50 metres butterfly (27.10), and Kelera Mudunasoko, who won bronze in the 50 metres breaststroke, improving her time from 33.30 seconds in the heats to 32.97 seconds in the final.
Also included in the team is 14-year-old Grace Khelan, who captured the hearts of many by winning three gold medals at the 2026 NZ Age Group Championships.
Some of the prominent male swimmers in the squad are Hansel McCaig, David Tolu Young, Thadeus Kwong, Jeremiah Rova and Reuben Taylor.
Meanwhile, Team Fiji participated in a training camp alongside their counterparts from New Caledonia and Tahiti. The camp offered an excellent opportunity for all swimmers to engage in productive training sessions and collaboratively develop their skills under the guidance of expert coaches.

The XIV Oceania Swimming Championships 2026 will be held from this Friday to next Wednesday at the Damodar Aquatic Centre in Suva.
