McDonald's Fiji Drua Women head coach Mike Legge is expecting a tough and physical contest when his side takes on the Queensland Reds in tomorrow's Super Rugby Women's semi-final at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

The Drua secured the right to host the semi-final after finishing at the top of the regular season standings and will face a Reds side Legge believes will present a far greater challenge than in their previous meetings.

Speaking ahead of the match, Legge says semi-final rugby is a different proposition and expects the Reds to arrive well prepared.

He says the Reds will not be the same team the Drua faced during the pre-season or in the final round-robin match.

Legge also praised Reds head coach Andrew Fraser, describing him as a smart and experienced coach who would have closely analysed the Drua's performances throughout the season.

He says his coaching staff have also studied the Reds, making for what he expects to be a highly competitive encounter.

He adds that the match will be a fitting showcase for semi-final rugby.

The McDonald's Fiji Drua Women will host the Queensland Reds at 1pm tomorrow at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

The second semi-final will see the Western Force take on the NSW Waratahs at 6.05pm.

The winner will progress to next week's Super Rugby Women's final.
