Labasa stunned table leaders Ba 2–1 in an exciting Extra Premier League match at the 4R Stadium, ending Ba’s unbeaten run in the competition.

Labasa broke the deadlock early, with former Ba striker Frances Catarogo scoring in the 11th minute to give the visitors a crucial lead.

After the second goal, both teams played a fast-paced and competitive game, battling for possession.

Ba managed to pull one goal back in the second half through a penalty.

Despite strong home support, with Ba fans turning up in large numbers to back their side, Labasa held firm to secure a famous victory on Ba’s home ground.

Labasa through this win has secured crucial three points.

In other matches, Lautoka edged Nadroga 3–2 while Nasinu secured a 2–1 victory over Nadi.
