Hurricanes use sauna sessions to prepare for Drua clash in Lautoka

The Hurricanes are holding their team meetings in a sauna ahead of their match against the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua in Lautoka this Saturday as they prepare for Fiji’s hot and humid conditions.

Temperatures are expected to range between 29 and 33 degrees Celsius this weekend, with high humidity likely to make conditions even more challenging for the visiting side.

Teams have generally suffered in Lautoka's hot and humid conditions, taking water breaks in each of the halves.

The Fijian Drua last defeated the Hurricanes in Fiji with a 27–24 victory at Churchill Park during the 2023 Shop n Save Super Rugby Pacific season.

They take on the Hurricanes at 3.35pm this Saturday at Churchill Park.
