Extra Bula FC midfielder, Setareki Hughes has credited teamwork, faith and determination following their crucial 2-1 victory over table leaders Auckland FC in Round 5 of the OFC Pro League.
Hughes acknowledges the significance of the result, especially after the loss against South Melbourne FC, saying the team remained confident in their ability to bounce back.

Reflecting on their approach, Hughes says the team entered the match focused on securing all three points and executed their plan despite not dominating possession.
He reveales that at half-time, the coach’s message was simple, to maintain control of the game, adding that the players stuck to that instruction in the second half and remained disciplined to protect their lead.
On the points table Auckland FC are leading with 29 points, followed by South Melbourne FC with 22 points in second place, and Bula FC is with 21 points in third place.
Meanwhile, Auckland FC will face South Island FC at 3pm tomorrow and South Melbourne will play Tahiti at 7pm at 4R Stadium Govind Park, Ba.
