Hong Kong 7s: Fijiana thump Spain 31-7 to secure 7th place

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side has just won its second game at the HSBC Hong Kong 7s, after beating Spain 31-7 in the 7th place playoff this afternoon.

Reapi Ulunisau and Atelaite Ralivanawa scored doubles, with Adimereani Rogosau contributing the other try.

Olivia Fresnada scored Spain's only try.

The Fijiana led 17-7 at halftime.

The Richie Walker-coached side lost their first pool game 12-5 to Japan, and edged Brazil 15-12 before getting thumped 38-0 by New Zealand.

They were also thrashed 45-0 by Australia in their Cup quarterfinal.

The women's Cup final is at 10.35 tonight.
