The Black Ferns have won the Cup final at the HSBC Hong Kong 7s after beating trans-Tasman rival Australia 19-14.

This is the 10th straight time these two teams have met in the finals, with the Black Ferns winning their 6th straight title.

Mahina Paul, Jorja Miller, and Kelsey Teneti scored for New Zealand, with the skipper Risi Pouri-Lane adding the conversions.

Australia scored through Isabella Nasser, with Maddison Levi scoring just a minute before full-time.

Australia could not retain its kickoff, knocking it on with New Zealand booting it into touch as the hooter blew.

New Zealand led 14-7 at the break.
