After an impressive 24-14 win against the Highlanders in Ba last Saturday, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua are in seventh place with 20 points on the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific points table.

The Fijian Drua ran in four tries, with Isikeli Rabitu getting a double while Virimi Vakatawa and Elia Canakaivata scored a try each.

This is also the first time the Fijian Drua have defeated the Highlanders since their inception in 2022.

The Hurricanes continue to lead the standings with 40 points after edging the defending champions, the Crusaders, 38-31 last Friday, while the Blues’ bonus point win over Moana Pasifika has moved them to second place with 38 points.

The Chiefs are in third place with 36 points, and the Queensland Reds are in fourth place with 27 points.

The Highlanders’ loss has dropped them to ninth place, the Western Force are in tenth place, and Moana Pasifika are at the bottom with one win this season.

The Fijian Drua are on a bye this week before they host the NSW Waratahs at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva on the 16th of this month.

Looking at this week’s matches, the Crusaders will host the Blues at 7.05pm Friday, the Reds will take on the Chiefs at 9.35pm, the Highlanders will meet the Waratahs at 4.35pm Saturday, Moana Pasifika will face the Hurricanes at 7.05pm, and the Brumbies will host the Force at 9.35pm.
