Haaland scores twice as Norway beat Iraq 4-1
Star striker Erling Haaland scored twice in his FIFA World Cup debut as Norway beat Iraq 4-1 lead in their Group I clash.

Haaland opened the scoring in the 29th minute to register his first-ever FIFA World Cup goal.

Iraq fought back through Aymen Hussein, who equalised in the 39th minute after being set up by Amir Al Ammari.

However, Haaland struck again four minutes later to restore Norway's lead and give his side the advantage heading into the halftime break.

Leo Østigård scored in the 76th minute while  Kristian Thorstvedt put the nail in the Iraqi coffin in the dying seconds of the match.

Group I also features France and Senegal, with France earlier defeating Senegal 3-1.
