The Fiji Rugby Union has signed a new partnership with Athlete Improvement Analysis to strengthen Fiji’s digital ecosystem to better identify and track rugby talent from the grassroots to elite level.

FRU Chief Executive Officer, Koli Sewabu says the partnership marks a historic moment for Fiji Rugby, helping to bridge the gap between Tier One and Tier Two nations in terms of talent identification and development.

Sewabu says the initiative has been designed specifically for the FRU ecosystem and will allow players to be monitored from the grassroots level, both locally and overseas.

He says legends of the game founded AIA Sports, and the partnership will ensure Fiji’s digital platform is accessible online to all stakeholders.

The FRU CEO says the collaboration is focused on building structure and providing Fiji Rugby with a world-class system to support player development.

AIA Sports Director, Thomas Lievremont who is a former French rugby player who played 37 games and winning two Grand Slams for France says he is overwhelmed to part of the signing and help rugby grow in a country spoiled for talents.

He holds a coaching Diploma and a Masters Degree in Sports Management.
