The All Blacks are expected to make changes to their side for Saturday’s Test against Italy in the capital, with several players in line for an opportunity.
Uncapped wing Josh Moorby and loose forward Anton Segner could be among those selected, with Segner on the verge of becoming the first German-born player to represent the All Blacks.
Assistant coach Neil Barnes says some players who performed well last week may miss out, while others will be rewarded for strong performances.
Barnes says the All Blacks remain focused on winning the Test convincingly while also giving other players a chance to prove themselves.
New Zealand will play Italy at 5.05pm on Saturday at Sky Stadium.
In other games on Saturday, Australia will host France at 7.40pm while and Ireland will take on Japan at 10.10pm.
