Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s captain Jeremaia Matana says the team is moving forward with renewed focus as preparations intensify for their title defence at the HSBC Singapore 7s at the end of this month.
Matana says the side has reflected on lessons learned from their last two tournaments and is working hard to correct minor errors that proved costly.
He also highlighted the positive impact of new players joining the squad, saying their individual skills and experience are gradually lifting the overall standard of training.
Meanwhile, Head Coach Osea Kolinisau will name his squad for the Singapore 7s after the McDonald’s Coral Coast Fiji 7s this week.
The Singapore 7s will held on the 31t of January and 1st February at Singapore National Stadium.
