The men's team finished in fourth place after losing to Argentina 28-17.
South Africa, which finished in second place, continues to lead the standings with 38 points, followed closely by Argentina with 34 points.
Australia sits in third place with 30 points.
In the women's division, the Fijiana 7s remain in seventh place with 16 points after claiming seventh place in Spain.
The final World Sevens Championships round will be held in Bordeaux, France, from Friday, 5th June to Sunday, 7th June.
