The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team will not overlook the fundamentals, underestimate any opponents or assume victory as preparations continue for the Vancouver Sevens.

Head coach Osea Kolinisau told fijivillage News from Vancouver that the focus remains on discipline and maintaining high standards ahead of the tournament.

Kolinisau says he has been reminding the players to concentrate on what they can control, as doing so will help them maintain their performance standards and dictate the pace of the game.

He adds that excitement within the squad is growing, with the players ready to take on the challenge while keeping their main objective in mind, which is winning the overall series.
