FIFA says there is no evidence the ball touched the overhead Skycam cable before England's controversial equaliser against Norway in their World Cup quarterfinal.
The governing body says data from the Connected Ball Technology showed no contact with the cable, confirming the officials made the correct decision to allow play to continue.
Norway players and coach Ståle Solbakken disputed the decision, claiming the ball struck the overhead cable during the build-up to Jude Bellingham's goal.
Despite the controversy, England defeated Norway 2-1 after extra time.
England will now face Argentina in the World Cup semifinals at 7am on Thursday, while France will take on Spain at 7am on Wednesday.
