Global Care Suva FC edged Stratum Rewa FC 1-0 in the Round 7 of the Extra Premier League clash tonight at the HFC Bank Stadium.
The two sides were locked at nil-all at halftime.
Suva found the breakthrough in the 61st minute when substitute Mohammed Faizal made an instant impact, scoring the lone goal.
Rewa pushed for an equaliser but were unable to break through Suva’s defence, as the capital side held on for the win.
Meanwhile, a minute of silence was also observed by Suva and Rewa FC for Iowane Matanisiga's daughter.
