Some England players were reportedly disappointed with manager Thomas Tuchel's tactics following their 2-1 FIFA World Cup semi-final loss to Argentina.
BBC Sport reports that several key players felt the team's defensive approach after taking a 1-0 lead with 35 minutes remaining allowed Argentina to take control of the match.
The report says Tuchel switched to a back five to protect the lead, but Argentina scored twice late in the game to book a place in the final.
Former England captain Wayne Rooney also criticised Tuchel, saying he believed the defeat was the result of the manager's decisions.
Meanwhile, England will face France in the FIFA World Cup third-place play-off at 9am on Sunday.
The FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and Spain will kick off at 7am on Monday.
