The McDonald’s Fiji Drua Women are set for their first pre-season outing of the year, where they will take on defending Super Rugby Women’s champions the Waratahs on Saturday.
Head Coach Mike Legge has named a 28-member trial squad, which features some new players like Karavaki Lutumaibau, Ruth Raketekete, Michellae Stolz, Zipporah Sorokacika, Elesi Saukuru, Selai Naliva, Keri Lawavou, Vilisi Tivalele, Varanisese Qoro, Aqela Raitubu, Vika Nakacia, and Ivamere Nabura.
Legge has also included two players from the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team - Kelera Roqorua and Vatiseva Cavuru to pull on the Drua jersey for this trial.
In the front row are Karalaini Naisewa, captain Bitila Tawake at hooker, and Tiana Robanakadavu.

In the locks are Carletta Yee and newcomer Karavaki Lutumaibau, while Nunia Daunimoala and Alfreda Fisher in the second row, with Sulita Waisega at No. 8.
Evivi Senikarivi pairs up with Imeri Nai in the halves.
The midfield is made up of Josivini Naihamu and newcomer Ruth Raketekete.
The back three are Repeka Tove, Michellae Stolz, and Litiana Vueti.
On the bench are Zipporah Sorokacika, Elesi Saukuru, Keleni Marawa, Selai Naliva, Keri Lawavou, Vilise Tivalele, Kolora Lomani, Varanisese Qoro, Aqela Raitubu, Kelera Roqorua, Vatiseva Cavuru, Vika Nakacia, and Ivamere Nabura.

The Drua women play the Waratahs women in their trial match at 1.05pm Saturday at the HFC Stadium in Suva.
Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua men will take on the Waratahs at 4.35pm.
