FIFA World Cup co-hosts Canada will take on South Africa in the first Round of 32 match next hour, with both sides aiming to make history by reaching the last 16 for the first time.

Neither Canada nor South Africa has ever progressed beyond the group stage at a FIFA World Cup, ensuring one team will achieve a historic milestone today.

The winner will advance to the Round of 16 to face either the Netherlands or Morocco.
