The Fiji Bula Boys have secured an important 2-0 victory over Papua New Guinea in the MSG Prime Minister’s Cup 2026.
The Bula Boys went into half-time leading 2-0.
Captain Roy Krishna opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 18th minute at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, giving Fiji a 1-0 lead.
Six minutes later, Sterling Vasconcellos doubled Fiji’s advantage with a goal in the 24th minute.
Papua New Guinea were unable to find the back of the net in the second half as Fiji held on to secure the 2-0 victory and all three points.
The Bula Boys will now play their final match against New Caledonia at 7pm Wednesday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
