George Bower, who has links to Fiji, has been named to start for the All Blacks against the Springboks this Sunday in the second Test of their Rugby's Greatest Rivalry Tour.

Bower joins Codie Taylor and Tyrel Lomax up front, Fabian Holland retains his place in the second row, with Tupou Vai'i moving down from blinside flanker back to locks.

Simon Parker joins Luke Jacobson and captain Ardie Savea in the loose trio.

In the backline, the Hurricanes axis of Cam Roigard, Ruben Love and Jordie Barrett will have another opportunity to inflict their will on South Africa, with Quinn Tupaea, Will Jordan and Damian McKenzie completing the team alongside Carter.

On the bench are Asafo Aumua, Zavier Numia, and Fletcher Newell joined by Patrick Tuipulotu, and Peter Lakai as cover for the forwards.

Kyle Preston, Anton Lienert-Brown, and Josh Moorby are cover for the backs.

Coach Dave Rennie says while they were happy with the win last week, he thinks both teams will be better this weekend.

Rennie says they have played four Tests this year and are still growing as a group.

The All Blacks face the Springboks at 3.10am on Sunday.
