With competition for the halfback spot in the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua squad heating up, head coach Glen Jackson has praised Philip Baselala as an awesome player who fully deserves his place in the team.
21-year-old Baselala is expected to provide impact off the bench in tomorrow’s clash against the Highlanders.
Jackson says selection is tough because there are several quality players in the same position.

He says normally some of them get injured, but the team has not had that issue this year, so it has been a tough battle for all of them to get into the squad.
The Fijian will take on the Highlanders 4pm tomorrow at Four R Stadium in Ba.
In other matches, the Hurricanes will meet the Crusaders at 7.05 tonight, the Waratahs will face the Force at 9.35pm, Moana Pasifika will face the Blues at 7.05pm tommorow, while the Reds play the Brumbies at 9.35pm.
