Auckland FC and South Melbourne FC will battle for glory in the first OFC Pro League final after both teams produced commanding performances in their semi-final matches.

Auckland FC secured their place in the historic final with a narrow 1-0 victory over South Island United.

The New Zealand side showed discipline and composure under pressure to edge past their opponents and keep their title hopes alive.

South Melbourne FC thrashed Vanuatu United 4-0.

The Australian club displayed attacking brilliance throughout the contest, overwhelming Vanuatu United with clinical finishing and dominant possession.

The final now sets up a thrilling contest between two of the competition’s strongest sides, with both teams eyeing the chance to become the first champions of Oceania’s professional football league.

For Auckland FC, the occasion will carry extra significance as they prepare to play in front of their home supporters at Eden Park.

Thousands of fans are expected to turn out.

South Melbourne FC will also try to add another major achievement to the club’s proud football legacy.

The OFC Pro League final will be played this Sunday at 3pm at Eden Park in New Zealand.
