Arsenal defender, Ben White will miss the remainder of the Premier League season and England’s FIFA World Cup campaign due to a knee injury.

The 28-year-old picked up the injury during the first half of Arsenal's 1-0 win over West Ham United and was later seen leaving the London Stadium wearing a knee brace.

In a statement, Arsenal confirms that White sustained a 'significant medial ligament injury', which will rule him out of the club’s final two Premier League matches and the Champions League final on 30 May.

The club says its medical team is now managing White’s recovery and rehabilitation programme.

White has made 30 appearances in all competitions this season and has started Arsenal’s last five matches, although he has started only nine league games.

Meanwhile, the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held from the 11th of June to the 19th of July this year.
