Following their debut victory at the Singapore Sevens last month, Canada coach Damian McGrath has added more firepower to his squad for the Paris Sevens as Adam Zaruba returns from injury.
The 120kg power house missed the previous two rounds of the series but has recovered from a neck injury and is the only change to McGrath's side who made history in Singapore as they clinched their first ever world series title.
McGrath also enters Paris with a winning record, having taken Samoa to victory at the tournament in 2016.
Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji 7s team will play Samoa in their first pool game of the Paris 7s at 8pm this Saturday.
Our second pool game is against Russia at 11.26pm Saturday and our final pool match is against Australia at 3.14am Sunday.
The medal quarter finals will start at 8.28pm Sunday, the medal semifinals will be played at 12.18am next Monday while the medal final will be played at 3.33am next Monday.
