Fiji Airways Flying Fijians flanker Peceli Yato scored a try for Clermont this morning as they beat La Rochelle 21-17 to snap a six-match Top 14 losing streak.
Franck Azema’s men have been poor this season and were concerned about potentially being drawn into a relegation battle, but this result will have eased their worries slightly.
Meanwhile, Fiji born winger Noa Nakaitaci also featured for Clermont while Kini Murimurivalu and Levani Botia featured for La Rochelle.
