Kalione Nasoko, Napolioni Bolaca and Waisea Nacuqu

The Yasawa rugby team will not have the services of Fiji 7's stars like Napolioni Bolaca, Waisea Nacuqu and Kalione Nasoko in their first ever Farebrother Sullivan Trophy Challenge against Namosi today.

Yasawa Rugby Union Secretary, Kinijoji Rakata says they are still hopeful of winning the game without their star players. He says their coaching staff have worked hard to get the team to where it is today.

Rakata says they want to create history by winning their first ever Farebrother Sullivan Trophy.

Namosi will face Yasawa in the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy Challenge and Skipper Cup match at 3pm today at the ANZ Stadium.

In the Skipper Cup matches, Nadi will meet Lautoka at 3pm at Prince Charles Park and Nadroga will face Naitasiri at 3pm today at Ratu Cakobau Park.

In last night’s game, Suva defeated Tailevu 27-25 in a nail-biting thriller.
