WBC Heavyweight Boxing champion, Deontay Wilder has ridiculed Anthony Joshua’s theory Andy Ruiz Jr caught him with a lucky punch ahead of their rematch this weekend.
Joshua seeks revenge over Ruiz Jr on Sunday, six months on from the Mexican’s incredible upset victory over him in New York.
Wilder has repeatedly backed Ruiz Jr to shock the world again and mocked Joshua’s efforts to explain his defeat.
Wilder is desperate to fight the winner in a unification fight, but insists a Joshua victory will make that showdown unlikely.
The WBC champion believes Ruiz Jr has the mental edge over Joshua and advised the unified champion to do exactly what he did in the first fight.
The boxing program for the second WBA, IBF and WBO title showdown in Saudi Arabia between current world champion Andy Ruiz Jr and former champion Anthony Joshua will start at 6am this Sunday.
