Wallabies centre Billy Meakes is urging the Western Force fans not to boycott this week’s clash with South Africa in Perth.
Today the NSW Supreme Court throws out appeal by the Western Force over the axing of the Franchise from Super Rugby.
The Force lost its appeal against the Australian Rugby Union, although the organization is weighing further legal avenues to challenge the ruling.
Force fans are bitter at the way the ARU has handled the saga, with many people threatening to boycott Australia's showdown with South Africa on Saturday night at nib Stadium.
Meakes who has a chance to make his Wallabies debut during the game, is urging disillusioned Force fans to ditch the proposed boycott.
Meanwhile another option thrown up by angry fans is to wear their Force jersey at the game as a way to protest the ARU's decision.
The Wallabies will host South Africa at 10pm Saturday while the All Blacks will take on Argentina at 7.35pm.
