Melbourne Rebels wing Sefanaia Naivalu could make his debut for the Wallabies next month.
Eligibility had been a barrier for Naivalu making the Wallabies match day squad during the Rugby Championship.
Naivalu has been training with the team and was set to become eligible on September 18th to play for the Wallabies.
But the Wallabies have yet to officially confirm whether Naivalu is now eligible to play rugby for Australia.
Six players with links to Fiji have been included in a 33‑man Wallabies squad this year.
They are Henry Speight, Sefanaia Naivalu, Tevita Kuridrani, Samu Kerevi, Taqele Naiyaravoro and Eto Nabuli.
The Springboks will host the Wallabies at 3.05am on October 2nd while Argentina will host the All Blacks at 10.10am.
