Wales have run in five tries to secure a 38‑14 bonus‑point win over Italy in Cardiff to move second in the Six Nations table.
The win moves Wales up to second in the table on 11 points, eight behind Ireland, who clinched the Six Nations title yesterday with a 28‑8 bonus point win over Scotland.
Ireland's win over Scotland left England needing a bonus point victory against France to keep their title hopes alive.
But England lost 22-16 to France.
Ireland will meet England at 2.45am this Sunday.
