Vunimono High School has secured their place in the Fiji Secondary School Football Association Under-19 final after edging out Suva Muslim College 3-2 in a nail-biting penalty shootout.

The match was locked 1-1 at the end of extra time, with Feizal Haniff striking early for Suva Muslim in the 7th minute before national and Rewa rep Delon Shankar hit back almost immediately for Vunimono in the 8th minute.

The second semi-final between Seaqaqa Central College and Tabia College is currently underway, with the winners to face Vunimono in the 2pm final.

In the Girls Open Grade final Tavua College will take on Vunimoli Islamia at 11am.

In the Under-17 final, Tilak High School will face Labasa College at 12.30pm.

Meanwhile, Central College has been crowned the Under-15 after beating AD Patel 2-0 in the final yesterday.

Misirasa Dakuitoga struck in the 7th minute, and Dylan Kumar sealed the win in the 42nd minute.
