Former French international and current Naitasiri inside centre Virimi Vakatawa

Former French international and current Naitasiri inside centre, Virimi Vakatawa says Malolo is a strong side and preparation will be key for Saturday’s Skipper Cup Final.

Vakatawa is urging his teammates to focus on their roles on the field and execute their tasks well, adding that if everyone does their job, all will go smoothly.

The powerful centre, who is back in Fiji and playing for his provincial side this season, has not confirmed as yet whether he will join the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua in 2026.

He says his current focus is on form and contributing to the Naitasiri campaign.

Vakatawa says he has full faith in the players selected this season and has been impressed with the speed and structure of the Skipper Cup competition.

Naitasiri will face Malolo in the Skipper Cup final at 3pm this Saturday.

Naitasiri will take on Nadi in the Under 20 final at 1pm and Namosi will play Suva in the Subrails Marama Cup final at 11am.
