The Ba soccer team is looking for a defender to step up and take the place of Josefata Neibuli and Remueru Takiate as the side prepares to take on Rewa in the Vodafone Premier League.
Ba is currently without a regular sweeper as Takiate has joined Suva while Neibuli is now with Rewa.
Midfielder, Avinesh Suwamy was forced to play as a sweeper for Ba in the OFC Champions League and is again expected to play alongside Manasa Nawakula in the backline this weekend.
The Ba-Rewa match kicks off at 3pm this Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
In other VPL matches this weekend, Suva will face Nadi at 6pm this Saturday at Ratu Cakobau Park, Labasa will host Tavua at 1.30pm Saturday and Dreketi will play Tavua at 1.30pm Sunday at Subrail Park.
