Melbourne Storm prop Tui Kamikamica who has been struggling with a back injury is likely to play for the Storm when they will take on the Canberra Raiders in the NRL this Saturday.

Storm’s assistant coach Jason Ryles says the Fijian star had been placed in cotton wool to ensure he would be right for the team's restart to the Premiership season.

Ryles says they will see how Kamikamica does in training today, but there shouldn’t be any reason why he would not be part of the team this Saturday. The Storm will take on the Raiders at 9.35pm Saturday.

The 2020 NRL season will resume this Thursday with the Brisbane Broncos facing the Paramatta Eels at 9.50pm.
