The return of Jonathan Thurston will be a huge boost for the Cowboys in terms of the play-making ability, struggling to win last month, winning two from four.
The Eels also have issues on the injury front, having named Kenny Edwards in the halves alongside Corey Norman after first pick Brad Takai-rangi was ruled out with an injury sustained in last week's win over the Penrith Panthers.
Meanwhile, Semi Radradra could be preparing to run out onto an NRL field for the final time in Parramatta’s clash with North Queensland tonight.
The superstar winger’s future beyond this weekend is uncertain as he prepares to respond to domestic violence allegations in Parramatta Local Court.
The Eels will take on the Cowboys at 9.50 tonight while the Rabbitohs will take on the Sea Eagles at 8pm.
