The Sydney Rays have pulled off the third upset in three games beating Perth Spirit 44‑31 in Perth.
It was the first time since round seven, 2015 that Perth Spirit has lost at their home ground and it has put their finals chances in a very shaky spot.
The Spirit’s handling errors were starting to mount against them, offering too many opportunities to the Sydney Rays.
In other matches the Greater Sydey Rams defeated Brisbane City 31-19 while NWS Country Eagles are currently Melbourne Rising leading 21-19, the match is in the second half.
Meanwhile the Drua will host the Sydney Rays at the ANZ Stadium at 4pm next Saturday and you can catch the live commentary on VitiFM on 92.2FM.
