Suva Grammar wins 4 netball titles while Yat Sen wins open boy’s title

William Cross College crowned as the new girls open grade Secondary School netball champions

William Cross College has been crowned the new champion of the Punjas Digicel Secondary Schools Netball Competition in the open girls division after they defeated Yet Sen Secondary School 14-11 in the final.

Going into the competition as underdogs, they managed to stamp their mark by winning all their games up to the final.

In the other results of the Punjas Digicel Netball Competition finals yesterday, Suva Grammar School secured the U14 title by beating Niusawa Methodist High School 16-13, and Grammar also won the U15 division defeating Jasper Williams High School 15-13.

Grammar outclassed Yat Sen 19-5 in the under 17 final and Grammar was also crowned the U19 girl's champion after beating Adi Cakobau School 19-13.

Meanwhile, Yat Sen Secondary School claimed the Open Boys title after beating St Thomas High School 19-11.
