Retiring Springboks captain Adrian Strauss believes South African rugby is now in an ideal situation for change and adds that he wants to be a part of that.
South Africa's performance declined rapidly this year where they only won four out of their 12 games and slipping in the World Rugby rankings to sixth place equalling their worst ranking in 2013.
Strauss says that they have a lot of exciting, young and talented players in the country coming through the ranks which makes him positive about the future of the Springboks.
Coach Allister Coetzee says that South Africa has to take a hard look at themselves and their standards which were not acceptable.
Meanwhile, the Wallabies face England at 3.30am this Sunday in the last match of the Northern Tour.
